Lewis Carroll - One of my favorites

Because I'm feeling philosophical on this dark and grey Sunday morning, I thought I would share some of my favorite quotes from one of the greatest philosophers ever, Lewis Carroll.

“When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.’

’The question is,’ said Alice, ‘whether you can make words mean so many different things.’

’The question is,’ said Humpty Dumpty, ‘which is to be master — that’s all.”

“Who in the world am I? Ah, that's the great puzzle.”

“I knew who I was this morning, but I've changed a few times since then.”

“What is the use of a book’, thought Alice, ‘without pictures or conversations?”

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?”

Yes I do, Alice, I do.
